Powdered Creosote Destroyer - 1lb

This Powdered Creosote Destroyer by Meeco  is made for woodstoves, inserts, alternative fuels, and creosote control. This is a one pound tub that will need scooped. It is specially formulated to control creosote buildup in wood and coal stoves as well as fireplace inserts and pellet stoves. It acts as a catalyst and destroys the binder which holds the creosote particles together. This helps to prevent chimney fires.

How to use:  Sprinkle in 2 tablespoons every 3rd fire or every other day if burning 24/7 Chemically activated by burning in a medium fire (325° – 350°).

Additional Info: Use regularly to Maintain fireplace and help prevent creosote build up – MAINTENANCE product, not a 1 time magic cleaner, should be powdered, if hard/cakey in tub it means moisture got into it needs to be replaced, SPRINKLE into fire- if too much is dumped and wood is too wet the powder with clump IN FIREBOX preventing burn, do NOT burn drift wood, when chlorine/salt wood is burned it leads to a large amount of creosote buildup, salt will also ruin any metal in firebox. Ashes are not garden safe because of copper content, will not negatively impact stainless steel.
