Important Safety Notice: Installation of any charcoal or smoker tray must not exceed half of the grill usage area. Do not spread charcoal beyond the flat surface of the charcoal tray, and never continue using the burner after the charcoal has ignited. When using the flame tamer with the lid closed, cook only with indirect heat and do not place food directly above burning wood or charcoal. For direct grilling, keep the lid fully open at all times and monitor cooking closely to prevent flare-ups. Do not overfill the flame tamer with charcoal.
