Freight (LTL) Shipping
Due to varying carrier schedules and restrictions, LTL delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. Please allow up to 10 business days for transit when ordering products that ship via LTL.
Important Note
Once packages are handed off to the carrier, we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates. These deadlines are based on carrier service schedules and are provided to help your order arrive in time for the holiday. Please keep in mind that the holiday season is an extremely busy period for all carriers, and delays can occur.
Small Package Ground Shipments:
All small package orders ship free for orders $99*+ with Standard Ground service to the contiguous 48 US states only. Orders can take up to 5-10 business days to arrive. For orders under $99 there is a standard flat rate of $12.99 which will apply at checkout If you want to check the status of your shipment, please log into your account or contact customer service at 866-663-4784.
Expedited delivery options are available for an additional cost. Expedited shipping only affects the time in transit and does not affect our current lead times.
Orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, US Territories, or any islands DO NOT qualify for Free Shipping. Shipping will be calculated using real-time rates and will be charged to you upon checkout or over the phone by a sales representative.
Order Processing Time
Most orders are sent out the same day if received before 2:00 pm CST
Order processing time applies to the time needed to receive, process, package, and ship your order after it's placed and payment has been received. To estimate the arrival of your package please consider the ships-within time plus the transit time associated with the method of shipment you selected. Ships-within time may vary on each individual item. All shipping times are estimates and not a guarantee.
It is not uncommon for you to receive your order in multiple shipments or boxes. Some products may ship from different warehouses. Refer to your tracking information within your customer portal for more accurate details regarding your shipments.

Expedited orders (Next Day, 2 Day, 3 Day) must be placed by 2:00 PM CST to ship same day

Expedited orders placed after 2:00 PM CST or on weekends/holidays ship the next business day

Interruption of Service
Modern Hearth & Home, FedEx, USPS, and UPS shall not be liable for any interruption of service due to causes beyond our control. Including but not limited to the following: customer's refusal or unavailability to accept delivery of the shipment; acts of nature, acts of weather, acts of God, acts of authority preventing delivery, acts of strike, insufficient or incorrect information provided by customer at time of order, government or legal interruptions, labor disputes, disruptions in air or ground transportation networks, natural disasters or anything beyond our control.
Freight Shipping Information
Items that are too large to ship by standard ground carrier such as USPS, or UPS are required to ship freight. Items too large or overall orders exceeding certain weight, dimensions, or overall girth may be required to be shipped by LTL.
Freight Delivery Guidelines

Freight items ship on pallets and require curbside delivery

A lift gate may be needed for delivery (additional charge applies)

You will be contacted to schedule delivery once your order reaches the local terminal

Inspect items before signing; note visible damage or missing items on the delivery receipt

Notify us of any shipping damage within 1 business day
Damaged Shipments
If your order is damaged, please inspect it and have the delivery person note any damage. If the delivery was left without a signature, you may also file a concealed damage claim. Please accept the shipment and then call your salesperson or customer service at 866-663-4784 and we will assist you in resolving the matter. You may also email us at customerservice@modernhearth.com
