DuraPlus Elbow Kit

This Elbow Kit is designed for navigating around obstructions like rafters, ridgepoles, or joists with ease. The kit includes two durable elbows and one elbow strap, providing the flexibility needed for safe and efficient chimney installations. Each elbow swivels 360° at the base (with fixed angles) to accommodate challenging configurations. When needed, two pairs of elbows can be used to return an offset chimney back to a vertical position. Compliant with UL 103 standards, offsets greater than 30° are not permitted. Choose from a stainless steel or galvalume outer wall for reliable performance and lasting durability. Available in 6" or 8" diameters and 15° or 30° angles. This triple-wall chimney features two layers of insulation: a ceramic blanket and an air gap. The ceramic blanket insulation is securely positioned, preventing the hot spots often caused by loose-fill insulation types. In the event of a creosote fire, the compressible insulation allows the chimney liner to expand outward radially. Built to withstand continuous operation at 1000°F flue gas temperatures, DuraPlus meets the rigorous UL standards, including one hour at 1400°F and three ten-minute chimney fire tests at 2100°F.
