Wall Straps are designed for both interior and exterior chimney installations, providing essential support and stabilization while ensuring a safe 2” clearance. For exterior installations, wall straps are required every 4 feet to maintain structural integrity. The adjustable design allows for a 2”-6” distance from the wall, offering flexibility in installation. Available in 10” and 12” outside diameters for 6" and 8" inside diameter pipe, these wall straps are an essential component for secure and compliant chimney installations. The ceramic blanket insulation is securely positioned, preventing the hot spots often caused by loose-fill insulation types. In the event of a creosote fire, the compressible insulation allows the chimney liner to expand outward radially. Built to withstand continuous operation at 1000°F flue gas temperatures, DuraPlus meets the rigorous UL standards, including one hour at 1400°F and three ten-minute chimney fire tests at 2100°F.
